The 2009 Noma Award will be presented to Sefi Atta at the inauguration ceremony of the Goteborg Book Fair in Sweden, on 23 September 2010.  A celebration dinner, hosted by the Noma Award, in association with the Goteborg Book Fair, will be held in the evening.

 

The Goteborg Book Fair 2010 is hosting a major focus on Africa: over 50 African writers, and a number of African publishers, will be attending, and the programme covers panels on literary, writing and publishing issues in Africa.
